What do you do when you feel like you're at the crossroads?
What do you think when it feels like things should not have been this way?
How are we expected to feel when we're constantly told not to give up, but still you can't help coming back to square one where you just feel like throwing yourself on the floor and giving up?
How we wish that someone would just come and deal with these problems for us, problems of the heart,mind and outside there.
In the end, what has happened, has happened and could not have happened any other way...

So then, is what has not happened the same as something that has dissapeared?

But I think it's different, because if it didn't happen, I wouldn't have gained and learned. And I never want to forget that, ever.

If I can remember all my painful memories, someday I'll look back at them and be strong enough to face them again. So I never want to forget any one of them.

John 1:16 From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.

The heart of the Expectant-is prepared beforehand

John 5:7--The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me."

I find this verse so interesting, first he claims that he cant get into the pool without anyone’s help, then he later says ‘but while I am coming’---the earlier statement that there is no one to help him was more of an excuse for him then.

What if, instead of waiting for someone to Help him in, he could’ve chosen to wait nearer to the pool in PREPARATION for the stirring. That would’ve reflected how desperate he was wat. Or, he could’ve chosen to respond immediately when the stirring began.

Basically, I think sometimes we also take TOO LONG to respond to the spirit. I think when there’s a stirring in a heart, we should respond immediately, whether you’re a leader or not! And finally when we choose to respond, the stirring’s gone already. Sighhh..

Maybe this guy could’ve gotten in if he had come earlier, Maybe we could’ve gotten that miracle had we come earlier, maybe if we were more prepared, no matter how lame or pathetic we are—

If we were expectant, we would come prepared.

Eternal life

I will be sharing a quiet time that i did last week which was on Matthew 19. When I got to Matthew 23-26, it said

23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. 24 I’ll say it again—it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!”

25 The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked.

26 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Jesus has said in this message that human speakingly, it is impossible for anyone to go to heaven which is a scary thought... but he continues saying that "But with God everything is possible"

From this scripture... it really shows that we need to stick to God and follow him otherwise our chances of going to heaven will be none. Hell is a scary place, in Matthew 5:29, it compares how loosing one part of your body is better than your whole body to go in to hell. Loosing one part of your body is very pain already but it shows in the scripture that it is better to suffer that pain than to go to hell. It shows that Hell is really not a nice place.

30And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

Our daily life can be so drawn to so many things that we forget God. It is important that we stay close to him, seek him and obey him because it is very easy to walk the other direction where God doesn't want us to walk in and it may be too late to turn back.

God sent his son to die on the cross for us because he loves us and made it POSSIBLE for us to Go to heaven. We should not walk away from this great opportunity but grab it.

In life, there are alot of times where God has challenge us to step out of comfort zone but we don't take the challenge because we would have to be uncomfortablE. However, think about it, God has done so much for us... he gave his son to die on the cross for us... Jesus suffered for us... And God may challenge but he NEVER means bad but to help us grow and learn. When we follow and obey in his will, It will be rewarding. Trust God for he knows the best for us.

It is better to suffer temporary pain that would help us grow in life than to suffer ETERNAL pain.

Practising or Preaching?

Hebrews 2:17-18 For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Now think about this,
Jesus Was made like us in Every Way! Every way!
He had nothing Magical about him, or something Unnatural about him, or anything in the Physical that is better than us.

He was Also Man on earth, Exposed to the Same temptations, Same Sufferings, Same Worries, Same Types of People, Same Danger...Etc etc!

So, we are no lesser of a person than Jesus!
YOu...Yes YOu!! Are made by God as He chose to make Jesus! Anointed to receive the Word of God and Power of God!

Now look at this...

18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.[NIV]

18For because He Himself [in His humanity] has suffered in being tempted (tested and tried), He is able [immediately] to run to the cry of (assist, relieve) those who are being tempted and tested and tried [and who therefore are being exposed to suffering]. [AmpBible]

Jesus Suffered in His humanity right...and He Overcame it!
he Overcame the Suffering, the temptation, resisted the Devil himself,used the Power of God in times Needed!!!

And Therefore, He is Able to HELP THoSE Who are Experiencing the same thing!!!

What is Jesus Doing?? can u follow me yet?

Well, think about this...What Jesus Was doing, was that He Was Preaching What He Practiced!!

Well, let me put it this way
Because he himself (practiced) when he was tempted, he is able to (preach to) those who are being tempted.

And Likewise, we Should Also Be Able to Preach What We Practise! (sure practice what u preach,but how bout the other way round?)
Can u Preach what u Practice, and is it still in line with the Word of God?
Because then,
You can help those who are suffering, because You have suffered, and Overcome..
You can help those who are in need, Because you have asked, and been provided..
You can help those who are in trouble, because you have Prayed, and Conquered!

Taking Hold?!

1 Tim 6:11-12;But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Paul was addressing a Christian(man of God) to take hold of the eternal life we were called to!
That means,
1, we(those how have confessed) are all called to eternal life, not eternal death!
2, Christians Don't Automatically get eternal life, it's something we have to work for!
3,We have to take hold of the eternal life, like we really want it! (taking hold!!) not Think about it, or slack and Wait for it to come, but TAKE Hold of eternal life!
it is something that REquires us to do something as welll!!! we have to fulfill what God requires us to do in the Word of God!

Obey!

1john2:3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4The man who says, 'I know him,' but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

OBedience to God is very important.Because it says we will come to kNOW Him if we obey His commands. Therefore, those who Do NOT obey Him, doesn't know God. and by Know, i'm talking about intimately know.

I guess i went back to basics for a while, Truly repenting from my sins. Because sometimes we take God's grace for granted, assuming if we sin, and do good works, it will cover up. But that's not it! Even Christians have to repent from sins, because that's how we remain holy and blameless!
Justifying our sinful actions Are Even Worse!!!Because then we become deceived!
Stealing something of very little worth, and justifying it's nothing-is still a Sin to God!

Those who say 'i know him' but yet do not obey, need to repent now and turn to the right direction.The Word of God is absolute, it has authority.

We Have to Understand the Authority God has! disobeying it is like disobeying a king-only much worse! Because i'm talking about Eternity here, not aBOut earthly life!

A Pack

1peter5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of suffering

In a battle between a lion and wolf, the wolf would have a pretty hard time. So looking into this situation, the wolf represents someone who is suffering, and the lion is here to devour him. grouping with his fellow brothers however, would give them an advantage! a lion can't take down a pack of wolves!Well, definitely not without difficulty.

So thats what unity can do for us! We are a pack, not a singular individual! So remembering our fellow brothers and sisters suffering the same way will give us that support we need to work as a pack.

Persevere

James1:4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

I know sometimes people always give up halfway-whatever God put them in. But Why?! We Shouldn't!
WElll Because JEsus NEver gave up As well. Why? Because He set His eyes on something Better! He set His Eyes on the throne in Heaven,And while we were all staring at the little things on the ground, He had His eyes to the Sky.
and in doing so, He has become Complete-to be a saviour of us, and taker of our sins.
If Jesus had given up, Heaven Forbid, then the work in Him wouldn't be completed!

And so if we too pray so diligently for God to move us to another level, then we have to be ready to set our Eyes on the Crown of Life! And not on the things that God throws at us! Because we have to persevere to the very end for it to finish the work it started!!! To mature and grow-else, we'll just go back to being the same ol person we were yesterday!

O_o And God is into Growth!

Temptation

Temptation... Have you heard ppl say yes i can stay away from it, yes i can control myself from it, I will be fine, i am strong enough to stay away from it, my self control is good...

well the thing is... yes we can control but not all the time, yes we can self control but not all the time, yes we can stay away from it but not all the time... you see we are not as strong as mentally as we think... I mean definetly we can say no to it at times but at times we can't...

I have learned the lesson that the more we grow further away from God, the more we grow distant from his words, the more we would live like the world, the more the things that God strongly doesn't want us to fall to, the more those things becomes principles and not things that God wants us not to do because we have grown far from God.

People may ask questions like... so what? there is nothing wrong with living worldly...

Well there is nothing wrong now but there will be later... well it's not technically wrong.. I mean there is nothing wrong with clubbing itself... nothing wrong with drinking alcohol itself BUT ... the more we grow worldly, the more sin is able to come through. PICTURE THIS... SAY there is a circle filled up with God's words, love and etc...but the moment we grow far from God's word, the circle now has a hole in it and it slowly empties the the circle that is filled with God's words, love and etc. The more we live wordly... the bigger hole it grows and normally a hole is black so the circle becomes black. So the bigger the hole gets, the more space that sin can enter. The things we once believe we shouldn't do, now becomes things that is I don't mind to do because we are distant from God, and things can now easily tempt us because the sword of God's word is now blunt. Well you see... when we are far from God, it's very easy to drift from God, and our self control cannot be realiable... It's God who we should rely on...We can't rely on ourselves because we are human... and humans are not strong... we are only mentally strong to a certain limit... the more we live Godly... the more we are able to stay from temptation and the more the purpose of why we do it will stand strongly...

We can nver do it alone... we can never live Life the way God wants to in our own control OR our own strength... BUT we can Live life God wants us to IN God's strength and wisdom.

We are just human who sin. but God is the God who created this world and who loves us and sent his son to die for us. He gave us grace, love, guidance, strength and wisdom and much more.

God is awesome

Dry Ground

Joshua 3:17 The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground.

I'm Gonna Go straight to the situation. Who has been on Dry Ground?
Everyone!
i Hope!

Because there's A Significance to Dry GRound. It's not just a season where you don't experience God. It's a time to Move on!

There's two people involved here.
1.The priest.
2.The israelites.

Both Crossed on Dry ground. So what is Dry Ground? It's the place you tread on to Cross Over!
It's a path to another level.
It's the Dead Sea Being Drawn away FOR YOU to cross BEfore it falls back down on You!

So it's a test as well. All you can do is just move forward!

So i asked God, are We-leaders and believers alike, the nation, or the priests?

Both Cross on dry ground rite. Both get over. But who walks first.

And God told me that no no no, you are the israelites, the nation.
The Church, is the priest. Who takes their first step into the Dead Sea and Lets Us Cross Over-Why do you think People Go into Dry seasons when the Church Moves Up another Level?

See this world may be in darkness, but we have the light of Jesus, and the reason He says every place we tread is ours is because everywhere there's light it's ours, and we bring light into places. We bring the Light of Jesus, and so He says everywhere you set your foot upon, i will give you.

WHEN we go to Uni and want to see our classmates saved- God says because you tread upon this place, i will give it to you.

If we go to a Room of non believers and everyone's a skeptic, God says because I have sent you here to bring light-i will give it to you. AS He has Promised.
5 No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

This is So revolutionising,GOd, the maker of HeaVEN AND earth says that He'll be with Us!I mean, cmon who is God? If tHe PM or the KIng even walked through our front door and said he'll be with us for one day, we'll be like WOW!I feel so...mighty. i feel so...hmmm-protected?

What MOre the SAVIOUR KInG.
WHO IS God?! The MAKer Of Heaven aND eARTH. The maker of the land u can't even see across, is walking with you. And Not just one day. But Everyday!And what does that Bring? Who is Jesus? Jesus is the Word( as i said prreviously) And the Word brings..Power.We Have POwer.not just one day, not just one month, but eternal. And power to do what? To not only walk with my head held above situations, but with Power of protection, of Love, of Faith, of Hope.

WHne people see the Saviour King next to me, they tremble in fear. they think The PM is powerful, wait till they see MY GOD! Wait till they see when He opens His mouth, the fiercest oceans become still, when He stands tall trees and mountains bow! Wait till they See! Boy i'm so Fired Up About this! BEcause I think EVeryoNe who's a christian has to understand the authority that Walks Alongside them EVERYDAy of their lives.

If i gave a Bazuka to you, and you just walked around it slinged behind you, yea it's powerful, but you don't USE IT! Then WHO CAReS? Communist all can come attack and you will still go Down,WHY? Because you dunno the POWER iN What you Have!

The Power that we Should KNOw And Use. And this is not just for us, because i don't want the others to think that this power is for the higher ones, oh maybe it hasn't developed yet or whateva-HELOO GOD Doesn;'t change! HE's not MORE POWerful TOMORROW than He Is Today!!!! He's As POwerful as since the time He made heaven and EARTH, and still was at the time He MADE US!

God is Light, if all the christians thaT BEcame Christians Understood that God is Light, we wouldn't have to walk to darkness any longer.

John1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning
John1: 14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the Word! He's the Walking living word that Says we are healed, we are set free, we are conquerors. And if we even got the grasp of this Power that God has placed on us, every place we tread upon will have light. Because God is Light, and He lives in us!And So, We Don't Have to Live in darkness! =)

We don't have to wake up every morning thinking that ...hmm..will i find some part of my salvation today?

Because EveryDay will be filled with Love,Favour,Hope,Peace, Opportunities...Light! and that's why we don't Have to Live in Sickness! The Word says that He Heals us, and when we just let the Power of God flow through, there's light.

Living in Sickness and depression eventhough we're christians is Wrong! Because God has Already sent Us Dear MrHolySpirit to give us Power!
What power?! What did Jesus have? The Power to Heal. The power to set people free. The power to love! The power to cast out demons and bring down the works of the enemy!

When Electricity was discovered, people were so Excited! Houses now all have electricity!

When there's a blackout, out come the candles-but we wait and wait and wait HOping that Electricity will come on again!That's Our lives! A Christian living without the Power of God is Not a christian At all!

Acts1:7 ...you shall receive power when the holy spirit comes upon you..
We have to live by the Spirit to be a victorious christian!

Living the Word

Do what it says. 23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

How does a person, who looks into the mirror feel?

When you dunno how you look like, how do you carry yourself in society? Do some of us put our heads down, thinking we are ugly, or do some of us lift our heads too high up, being proud at what we do not know.

It's the same with the Word of God, if We just read it and not live it- we dunno how to carry ourself in Society! We dunno how to how should be like- do we lift our heads up? or put it down? We are just doing it based on our assumptions, but never knowing the real truth. But reading the Word of God, And Living it- We Know what is Truth- we Know how we should be like in God's light!

We don't base our actions on assumptions, but on the Word that we've read and known! So we should live the Word of God- not just let it run through our heads!

So let's go Live!!!=)

From the Beginning till the End

from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say: My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.

God is so good, he didn't just create us, and told us.."Oke, you start here, and I'll be waiting for you at the end.."O_o

No! God is with Us from the very beginning! Step by Step, Word by Word, Troubles after troubles! He didn't just wave Baiiiii...i'll see you at the other end!

No! The GReater Reward is there, but is there ever an end? Don't u realize everytime you achieve something, God says.."There's More! There's More! Cmon i'm with You All the Way!!!"

So don't look at God like He's so far away, so distant that it'll take you forever to reach-
no...He's Already there, beside you! From the Beginning till the End!!! =)

Beautiful Saviour

He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself.

Hebrews 9:12He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption

Oh Wow!! i think Jesus is Such a Beautiful Saviour! When He died on the cross, the love that poured Forth, It cleansed the sins of the nations, generationa after generation.

Hebrews 10:4because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

You see, Jesus didn't have to offer sheeps and cows and what have you - He understood the power of a Sacrifice!

People may sacrifice a thousand goats, or a thousand Cows- i dunno, God asks for the weirdest stuff, But- A thousand Cows and goats, what worth are they?Goats and cows don't cleanse sins, they don't Change a nation, they Don't bring eternal life......But When JEsus Walks into A Person's Life, Wow!

he'll never be the same again! When Jesus Touches us, We experience the Love that we have longed for, the Hope that we search for! When He PLaces His hands upon us, The Power of HEaling Comes through!

When You stand, Tall trees and mountains bow,
When You speak, the fiercest of the oceans is still, ~Devotions/Hillsong

See, When He stands, The Proudest of the Proudest BOW Down,
When He Speaks, the Fiercest of your emotions, your problems, lay still...

This is the Sacrifice- not bulls or goats- No! But Jesus, The Only Sacrifice that was Worth to save us! This is our Beautiful SAviour! He came and Gave us a direction!

God never wants to hurt us

I was at work today and I was thinking about God and the things he does for us and the questions i hear from people who don't know God or Christians who ask why does this happen to me? why? why God why?
I remember i was so angry with God when i was playing Golf, and i think i was blaming God for my golf... and i said I hate you God... and sometimes i use to blame God about this and that...

The thing is...God Never wants to hurt us... God always wants to help us... God loves us so much...
But then people will ask questions like if he doesn't want to hurt us? then why did God put me in this hard decision? why did God put me in this ? why? why?

You see we might be lacking in something, or we might need to feel it to learn and to realise it... God will never just put us in that situation randomly... there is always a purpose... we just can't see it small but look at the big PICTURE...

Well i will tell you a story... hehe when i was younger =p I remember that my dad asked me to read a story book and i was reading a bed time story... I was lazy to read the story... and it actually was a short story,then a little while later... I told my dad that i have finished reading it and he asked me what it was about. There were pictures of a bears on that page... so i made up the story using the bears... then when my dad read it... HEHE it was not about what i said at all... so CONCLUSION: BERNIE LIED! my dad was so angry with me... he locked me out at the back of the house- cant's remember how long i was there for but yeah it wasn't the whole night hehe... So there I was at the back of my house... and I was so sad... thinking WHY DOES MY DAD DO THIS TO ME... WHY!!! he is so mean! horrible... BUT u see the lesson i learned from it... was DON'T LIE... don't make up stories that aren't true... if that was too never happen... I may not learn that lieing is so bad... Even though it caused sadness in my heart and abit of suffering which was being lock outside the house... if you see the BIG PICTURE... THAT WAS never to hurt me... but to teach me which would then lead to making me a better person... Sometimes when i was younger... i get so angry at my parents on why they have to spank me haha =p yES YES i got spanked =p hahaha and i would be so angry with them but now when i look back... It's cause they want the best for me... BUT questions might be asking... how can that be the best for you when it involves spanking? the big picture is that it is a step closer to learning to be a better person... but people might say? but why be a better person when i can break rules and live wild?Who cares about how we treat people? it's not like they care about me too... This world is in a mess anyways...

My parents... they want the best for me... they would sacrifice so much for me... Like my mum... she is the best mum I could ever ask for... when we go shopping... she would try to meet my needs more than her needs... she thinks of me first... she wants the best for me... she cooks the best for me... she tries to make me happy... but yet she is strict and draw lines for me in what to do and what not to do... but it's not to pull me down and make me unhappy but it's to avoid me from danger, from getting stuck in temptation that may harm me...

so when we relate this to God... he does so much For us... he sent his ONLY SON FOR US... HOW AMAZING IS THAT? his ONLY SON... All the things God does... is not to hurt us at ALL... not to make us in trouble at ALL... not to put us in a mess AT ALL... God is always there to hear us... 24/7... God is here to help us 24/7... God is here to listen to us 24/7 God is here to lead us and teach us 24/7... God is here to protect us 24/7... nothing he DOES IS TO HARM US...we have to put our faith and trust in him... God wants a relationship with us... He never condemns us... he forever LOVES US... he just wants us to speak to him.. he just wants us to say God I love you... God I want to serve you... People may say... why do we have to serve God? why do we have to honour God? the answer is that because God is almighty... he is the KING OF KINGS... yet God is so humble... he bless us with so much... he brings miracles to our life... he is not the snobby king up in heaven but he is the king who wants to help us... he is the God that is friendly... he is the God who is funny... HE IS THE GOD who wants the BEST FOR US... THE BEST FOR US... he is FIRST CLASS... He is not the king who does NOTHING ... but HE IS THE KING WHO WILL FOREVER GUIDE US, WHO WILL FOREVER WATCH OVER US...who is forever doing something and not just sitting up there... HE WILL FOREVER listen to us... He will forever never BREAK his promises... and MOST IMPORTANTLY HE WILL FOREVER LOVE US... HIS LOVE IS SO STRONG... THAT NO ONE ON THIS EARTH can Loves US AS MUCH AS HOW GOD LOVES US... He is not the king who just sees everyone as the same and not valueable... but he IS THE KING THAT SEES US AS VALUEABLE AND SPECIAL..We serve him because he is our awesome KING.....

Remember whatever we encounter in our life whether it is good or bad... THERE IS ALWAYS A PURPOSE AND THAT PURPOSE IS NEVER BAD... it may seem bad because our heart would feel like it's being torn... but LET'S ALWAYS LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE... God is always teaching us something... like in this verse it says : For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

God knows the plans for us... no matter what type of situation it is... IT IS NOT TO HARM YOU... AND PROSPER... just like my lieing story... locking me out - at that moment seems like it was harming me... BUT it wasn't because it was actually letting me feel how what i did was bad and made me not want to repeat. If my parents decided not to punish me... I could be adapting that as my habit... but then ppl might say but you were still young... well it starts from young doesn't it? if i continued... that would grow which would lead to a mess... which would lead in to who I would turn out to be... To also answers the question earlier about why should i be a better person if i can break rules...it would be because we will never get forever happiness by breaking rules and living wild it strongly brings temptaion to win over us, it WOULD lead to Sin and it would lead US to be friends with the devil AND LETTING THE DEVIL WIN over us from God... and WHO WANTS TO BE WITH THE DEVIL WHO BRINGS SUFFERING? and it would make US a step closer to HELL! who wants to GO TO HELL? not me!!!!!!!WE CAN'T LET THE DEVIL DEFEAT US!

That's why God sometimes brings hard experiences for us to feel because it will then lead us in to GOODNESS AND dependence on him...Sometimes God gives me different situations yet the things i get out of these situations are the same lessons i learn... he gives these to me because I am probable repeating it so he wants me to really put that stop to it forever and not just for the presence... THE BEST PART IS... he doesn't leave us alone... but he provides all that we need to succeed this which will help us to have a closer relationship to GOD... gOODNESS AND liviNG For God WILL LEAD US to FIRST CLASS... WHICH WILL then make God happy... which will then be a step closer with a GRAND ENTRANCE to Heaven...IT WILL ALSO IMPACT PEOPLE'S LIVES through the way we live and be able to Show God's love through this... God is a God who is GREAT... HE LOVES US that he blesses us with so MUCH... HE is our provider... he will never leave us.

this verse is Amazing!! it's fantas! it Says that Hope is our Anchor,Holding on to what is Promised!
People say Hope is frail,NO! It's Not!

You don't drop a feather of a ship to anchor it down, it's Strong! It's firm and secure!!!And it takes us into Victory! where Jesus Went before us!

This is what turned my life around last year, I didn't realize that the Battle before me was won, and all we have to do, is just Walk right into It!

Yea yea, i know that God is almighty, that Jesus came and gave me salvation. But there's just More! It's not like waking up every morning anymore saying, yeap, today is another day i shall not sin, i know that Jesus is my saviour.

NO! Enough of milk, it's time to go beyond that! It's time to wake up every morning and say Wow Lord how do you want me to please you today? What extra step of faith should i take today?! How will you use me today? Will i get closer to my miracle today?!?!

Oke I kNow most of you Watch Doctor House: So I shall use it to illustrate!
Dr.Foreman fell reallly sick and finally he did get treated, after almost dying. And when he came back for work, he wasn't the challenging doctor he once was, he was just happy 'living'.
But House said, he doesn't Need a doctor that's just satisfied with being Alive! No! It has to be more than that!

So, You Cannot Just be satisfied Being Saved By JEsus! NO! I wanna be A person who Changes Lives!!! Not just hi bye people!!
You know God is everywhere, but He doesn't want to be just 'everywhere', he wants to Manifest into your Life!!!

And this furnishes to be a weapon! because of CONSTANT Use, shall you differentiate the good from the evil!

So don't just 'live life', we are not called to exist, but called to God. =)

Let's put God in our main focus =)

Growing in faith

2 Peter 1:3-11
3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

5 In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, 7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

8 The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But those who fail to develop in this way are shortsighted or blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins.

10 So, dear brothers and sisters,work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away. 11 Then God will give you a grand entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

When i think about it ... God really has given us all the things we need to live a Godly life... but the question is whether we use it and put the main focus to God... because too many times especially for me... I would take God for granted and he would be somewhere at the back of my important list, and then I would get trapped in worldy things or human desires... and when i realise it, or when things go downhill, I will then say... God I want to hear from you, and God i want you to lead me out of these human desires... BUT I realise that sometimes even though I would want to hear from God or actually God HAS already spoke to me BUT because He is at the back of my importance list, I won't be able to hear him. which then makes me ask myself this question, how would i be able to hear from God, how would i be able to grow? how would i be able to know more about God IF I don't make that effort to hear him or respond to him?The answer would be: I won't be able to because he is not in my main focus... and only when I don't feel God's presence or when things start to go downhill I will cry,blame and ask God and actually... all along GOD was always there talking to me and waiting for my response... It's just that because I don't put him first, and because I don't make that effort to hear from him, I won't be able to hear from him .

So we should put him in the top of the important list, make every effort to respond to him and take away those human desires, BUT the amazing part is, because of God's promises, he has enabled us to escape the world's corruption caused by human desires... HIP HIP HOORAY TO GOD... he is awesome!

If you want to feel how God feels sometimes:
just imagine... the person you love so much and would do pretty much anything for them... and that person knows how much you love them and they do love you too but at times they put you in the background... how would you feel? sad? hurt? but for God... his love is so much till we can't even love the person as much as how God loves us... that is how much he loves us...

God has given us so much. we shouldn't let the things in this world come between us and God. He is our saviour, He loved us so much that he sent his son Jesus Christ to die for our sins... he has blessed us with so much that he doesn't deserve to be put in the background...
At times it is hard, but we should constantly remind ourselves about what are we here for and the things that God has blessed us with...

We are so special to him, even though we are sinners, he still loves us unconditionally, he doesn't give up on us, he still wants to lead us and guide us, all he wants us to do is to make the effort to respond to him and be obedient to him... so LET'S NOt put him in the background but put him as our main focus.
and LET'S make every effort to respond to God and let's INCREASE our faith...

Let's us not be the ones that fail, Let us not be the one that is shortsighted or the ones that gets blind... but let's prove that we have been called and chosen by God... even in the bible, it says work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen.... so it's sort of saying that it won't be easy and the devils will try it's best to defeat us but if we read Jeremiah 15:20
20 They will fight against you like an attacking army,
but I will make you as secure as a fortified wall of bronze.
They will not conquer you,
for I am with you to protect and rescue you.
I, the Lord, have spoken!
Jeremiah 15:20

GOd is with us SO THE DEVIL WILL NOT DEFEAT US...

oh and ya!
I like the last part in 2 Peter 1:10-11, about how it says if we do those things that was mentioned in verse 5-6, we won't fall away and God will be giving us the grand entrance...That will be so EXCITING... the grand entrance in to the eternal Kindgom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ...

As If it's not Bad enough he didn't have any 'divine' powers on earth, He Experienced the Same Temptations, Same Trials, Same Situations, Same Type Of people...But What was so Different about Him? He Knew when to call upon the Name of the Lord, for grace and Mercy in His time of needs!

I just gotta Cry Out! Lord! There's More!!
Jesus never settled for Anything Less! instead of giving a Drop of Blood for our sins, He gave His Life!!! Now that's Style!!!

but i want us to get the Power that Jesus depended on, God!

Let us Approach, with Confidence! So That....So That We May RECEIVE grace and mercy in our times of Need!!!! O_o

even Now with my course plan and exams-it'll be just so nice to sit down and wallow in depression-worrying about my life and future in this ....terrIBLE Uni!!

BUT NO! i think Not!

There's A Difference in My life! Yes maybe long ago i would've done that, but I FOUND JESUS!
And He Says that BECAUSE i have Known His Name, He will set me securely on High!

Ever stood somewhere so high Up, that you felt like you could Fall?
Well, God says He Will Set US Securely Up there, Where We can Get AS Close to Him As Possible!

Why? Because, we know how to cry out....Jesus! Come save me Lord! =)

Now, the first verse tells me that GOd is into Growth! He's so into growth! the christian life is about Living a Life with God, and Growing in Love and Faith! It must be filled with Revelations!

There are 2 types of Christians! The Christians and the Victorious Christians!
Many months ago i read this book by Ps.Jean Lim(living by the spirit) and it opened my mind so much!!!
Going to church on Sundays, going to cell group, praying..yea yea-that's a christian. But Always seeing CHange, Always taking a step forward, receiving the anointing of the Lord, seeing miracles happen in our lives...
That's a victorious Christian! It's such an exciting Life!
This is not a Plot Driven Story for us On Earth, where situations drives the story forward, but it's a Character Driven story!

We Grow and receive revelations, and that's what people get fascinated about!!!

and How does God direct us into His Love?

Well, as i Asked, it came to me that, to Know God's Love, we Have to Experience God's Love.How?! By Trying to Share the Same Heartbeat that He has for his people!!!(i did find a verse for this, just can't rmb where). How is God's love for the people?!! That's when we get directed to His love, because we Know what is it about, we know the sacrifices involved, we Know the revelations we get from it!!! O_o

So Are we ready to be victorious christians or What?! O_o =)

Kill the Cow, Burn the Plough

1Kings 19:21 So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his attendant.

There's something Amazing about Elisha! He's a go getter! He's a risk taker!
Why?! Because he Burned all his Backdoor Opportunities!
He killed the oxen and burned the Plough! Bai bai! there goes my old life, and i'll NEver Go Back again!
You See..He doesn't think "oh if following Elijah doesn't work, then Maybe i'll go back to ploughing"
NO!

If we all constantly have Backdoor opportunities in Our Lives, we'll never succeed in God's calling for us!!!!
All yOu Have to do is Just Run ahead, Kill the Cow, and Burn the Plough!

As i read this passage again, i remember that the battle i have is not of the flesh, but really of the spirit!I mean, i sometimes find it so difficult to connect with some people, and They Reallly Make me Angryy!!! Grrrrr!!!!!!!

A lot of people always Give up on people! That's probably no.1 thing to give up on! if i give up on a game, or a puzzle, or an assignment..i can always come back to it knowing it'll be just as i left it. But with People, it's Not!!
O_oWhen there's been a quarrel,or hurt, or anger going on, it doesn't just Stay as it is! it pulls further and further and grows Bigger! So i can no longer 'go back to where i stop'...but something has been created there already. a sense of wrongness! it's the spirit that's been hurt.If i'm gonna win a soul, i gotta have to get through to the spirit.!!! ><

Well to me la, pride is the Most horrible thing. not only does it affect ppl around us, it affects ourselves. Pride stops me from learning, pride stops me from receiving. And pride stops us from understanding what the gospel is speaking. what this guy was conceited about is not the problem here, it's that because of Pride, he didn't get what was the bible telling him. he stopped learning.

in fact when i went to planetuni camp, and i told God pls teach me how to write songs for this nation. He gave me 3 conditions n the last one was be humble. at first i was like...WHat? be humble? what has That got to do with anything? it has something to do with Everything. it's a barrier that we put up ourselves. so i had to learn to bring it down, and say i throw down my crown b4 you Lord! ><

the Presence of God

Finally i'm out of my assignments! whew!*

Exodus33:15 Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. 16 How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?"

God has already given charge to His angels to guard us...bear us up in their arms that do not strike our foot against a stone- psalm91

So i was thinking,We Will ALWays Have angels with us rite. We'll surely be protected,and get blessed..normally. =)
But it's just Never Enough!It's not enough that Angels are by our side, because i Dun Want to Move with Only Angels,but With the Power of God!=)

Only God will move Extraordinarily different, only God can Move me in a way I Long for...
So I Will Never take a step without God's Presence in ministry!

Because if God doesn't go with me, How Will PEople know the REAL power of God?! O_o how will they know that we are different?! O_o

So Go With the Presence of God! Never Leave Home without it! =)

Worship

How important is Worship?! Even better...How AMAZing is Worship?!?!
because it tells me that...Even the Worship of other gods will be a SNARE to me...

The WORSHIP of OUR GOD will Also in turn CAPTURE the hearts of the People!!! u get me?!

There is Nothing i Love more that Coming into the Presence of God, to bask in the freedom He gave me! Never Stop Worshiping! =)
if u feel like the enemy's creeping up on u...WORSHIP the Lord!Praise the Lord!! Because that'll surely drive the fella away!!!!!

This is Why sometimes u See ppl breakthrough through Worship! Some people get saved through Worship!!! because they get captured by our Worship onto Jesus!!!

So Never Stop! In fact, God once challenged me...
So u think u worship me great enough already? Ya rite...
Wow! Just when u begin to think, there's no way i can worship more than i have done, God does something in ur life, and You're praising over the top! =)

Consuming Fire

Exodus24:17 To the Israelites the glory of the LORD looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain.

As i read this..i Was like...WOW!!!! The Glory of God is Like a Consuming Fire!!! What does this mean?!

Whats the difference between a person watching a burning building from afar, and a person who's in that Burning Building?!?
a person who's not involved in the Fire, will just go..."oh look....there's a fire.."
but a person Inside will go..."It's Hot I Can Feel it and it's Gonna catch up to me soon if i dun get out!"

You see..the Glory of God is Not Just A FIRe that ppl see from afar..but never get to experience it! it's a COnSuming Fire that Catches on, that burns, that affects our lives in a Good Way!!!=)

How do we View the Glory of God?! As Just a Fire..or A CONSuming Fire?! =)

Effective ministry

Exodus 18:17 Moses' father-in-law replied, "What you are doing is not good. 18 You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone

23 If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied."

24 Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said. 25 He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. 26 They served as judges for the people at all times. The difficult cases they brought to Moses, but the simple ones they decided themselves.

I'm here to talk about being Effective!

Is our serving Effective??

I mean, Moses didn't see it that time, he thought he'll do it himself..which was Good..but it wasn't Effective!
After he chose to appoint other people, only then did things start to work better, and Everyone (not some) will be satisfied!=)

God didn't mean for us to do everything ourselves..if yes..He wouldn't have had to create sooo many people for different ministries already!
Like i said before, when our load of Fishes gets too heavy, we call over our friends to help us! =D

So after Moses did what his father in law told him to, thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens got served better.

So is our serving effective? Are we united? can we trust each other? i was Talking to God about it, and He said there were people Who Actually Wanted to serve as well, but it was only when Moses appointed them did they get to serve.=)

So Who out there do you think Wants to serve, and will contribute greatly to the ministry?! =)
Because we are Effective people!and Affective! lolz!

Walk With the Fire

Exodus 13:20 After leaving Succoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert. 21 By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.

Wow..here they are..the Israelites...Walking ho hum around the dessert.
They're super tired, and could've gotten super lost!

but God has Showed us..That Even when we Walk in darkness...
The Lord will GUIde us by the Pillar of Fire!
For me that was amazing!~ Cuz if God could come as Fire, he's Guiding me by The pillar of Passion!=)
To be on Fire in the darkness! Wow! O_o

are we more than conquerors or what?!
Psalm23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

because we Can't Rid of the Passion, of the Fire that God has put in our hearts that just makes us Walk and Walk And Walk in faith! though i do not know what i'm walking into, but God, if You Would lead me, i'll just Walk!=)

Wow our God is Soooo Great, that when God moves..the Enemy has to Move too!

And there is No Doubt, that when we are seeking deliverance in our life..that If We just Call Onto the Lord for Help, Be SAVED!

Because by His mighty hand, He will deliver You! By his Mighty hand, He will Move the people!
By His mighty hand, you will see the works of the enemy Fall under your feet!

As i asked God about this passage..He told me of the real significance of it!=)

People will always have to find a way to explain all the miracles thaT only God can perform..
Sorcery, magic wateva blablabla..they will all be Devoured by the Works of Our God, Just like how the Enemy's snake/staff was Conquered by Aaron's staff.

And so, by the Works our Lord, We Conquer the works of the enemy!=)

Ooo ppl might go Ooh and Aah at the works of human hands..But the Works of God will Always Overcome what Humans can try to do!=D

he used to say..people change..but not a lot!
Then he found out that people Can Change a Lot!

So he said People Change..A Lot!

but then there were still some Who Still..Never changed much..

it doesn't matter how many times we go to church, or cell groups or serve and serve and serve..IF We Don't Expect to See a change in ourselves..We'll Never change much...

But if...Every Single time you go to Church...Every single time you Go bless someone...Every single time you give..Every single time you Serve God......You Expect to See a CHANGE in your life...

You can change a Lot..and for the better.
because God is into Growth! He's never stagnant! the Word is never stagnant! You Should Never be stagnant!

Exodus2:5 Pharaoh's daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the river bank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her slave girl to get it. 6 She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. "This is one of the Hebrew babies," she said.

Wait wait...lemme get this straight..O_o

The Pharaoh's daughter was supposed to be...you know...Under his 'command'.
He wanted all sons to be killed, and yet, she chose not to follow.Wow...
1.Where You Come from, or Who's Your parent, or Who's your friends whatever..Does Not Dictate how you should serve God. We Are supposed to be a light to the world anyway!

But the most amazing part was that she's Actually Took The time and trouble to SEEk And opportunity to bless.
She's the daughter of a ruler man, Why does she need to care for a basketcase?! like puhlease...
But she Sought an Opportunity,and because of that, she Drew him out of water.

Exodus 2:10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, "I drew him out of the water."

Wow! this is so amazing! Because i believe that We Are being stretched here and there, it's cuz the enemy is realizing that "oh no no...we are growing too much" And they HAVE to oppress us, because if Not...
we'll Realize our Strength soon, and when WAR breaks Out...this generation is Gonna Join with Jesus and take them on! O_o

Therefore...the More we're oppressed..the MORE we multiply, because We Know that FINALLy...this time of testing has come upon us!
Our "Slave masters" will oppress us with forced labor, But Nothing's gonna stop us From Jumping up in Praise to God! =D

We don't live on fear, but we make the devil fear us!

Wow, It says here that God is the Head.
What does it mean to be the head?!
He's the one who sees, He's the one who has the Vision,
He's the one who Thinks for the body to move.

And all we have to do, is go along His thoughts..=)

If you run rite...Wow...You will know how much ur body protests After a Long time rite?
But ur brain keeps on telling you that "No No mUSt Get Home for Lunch!" =) lolz!
That's like God telling us..

"No no, don't get Weary! We can still make it! Move Move Move!"

~Put all our trust in the the leader, because we don't let our bodily self Dictate whats possible and whats impossible.
Our Brain thinks first, then we try.

God thought first, He thought of a Vision, and He wants us, the body to try it out. Sounds cool!

Wow you know what! i believe God is gonna change something this week,like..it won't be the same as before!
but let the fresh Anointing of the Lord pour on you..!

Collosians 1:5the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel 6that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth.

You See...
The WORD of God does Not Remain Stagnant!
It Grows! it Bears Fruit! It's not just black printed words on paper..
But it's Words of Life!

When we read the bible..And we Proclaim it out to others...We are Growing the Word.
It's not "just Something i read this morning.." Nope Nope..
It has to Grow from you..=)

And When People Get Blessed by the word, When We get blessed by the word that we speak, When our friends got closer to God just from hearing the Word..That's bearing Fruit!
i mean..What's the point of Just Reading And Reading And Reading..If you're not gonna Bear any fruit from it?
i'm not saying.Don't read la then!I just wanna tell you that, If We read the Word of God..And we don't Get something out of it..

That Means that We're Missing out on something that God wants to give us!
That means that We're not gonna Experience the Amazing things Other people who read and bear fruit experience!

I mean..if the enemy is gonna start Pushing his people..then We Have to step up already! There's a match for yuu out there somewhere... =) and we're so gonna be prepared..

Luke 22:35Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?"
"Nothing," they answered.
36He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

Wow..Here are the disciples...Telling Jesus that they lacked NOthing when He asked us to Depend on Him totally rite?!
1.Jesus Provides..He may send us out without Any Baggage..cause we shouldn't be carrying our Shame,our Past, Our Sin, Our 'needs' as we call them...Because God is gonna provide for our ministry.

And then Jesus says..NOW...if u have etc.etc. ..Take it! And PLus....GET A SWORD!
Why leh no sword last time?! Well i think there will come a Time...When Jesus Decides...
'hey..training's over...Now...Get a Sword..it's the Real Deal this time'

NOW it's the time...Give everything U have..That covers your back..To take on the enemy of this World with a Sword!
We may have been under the cloak for too long..but it's time to trade it in For A Sword! we're going All Out to attack!

BUT he Had a problem with the 'DOs'

That's when he Stopped...And said..Oh nooo.Sorry Jesus I just can't give all this up!?!

it's much easier to NOT DO anything whether good or bad than to Actually DO something for JEsus! It takes STEPs of FAith to DO what God wants us to do! Are You up to it!
cuz we wanna Have the right Spirit to Enter HEaven! =)

We want to DO what God has asked us to do!
And we might even be hanging on a branch...Shouting LordLord help me!
And if God says fine let Go (of issues, situations, money, materials) ...and You will be saved..

Hey Ya All!! omgosh i'm so sowy!

i've been spiritually affected for a while since i came back, and needed time for the spirit to work in me again! like seriously!

but i realized even better now..
What do I have if..i Don't have Jesus?! O_o
And ...If let's say we are down..And we say that it takes time again for this season to Get Over With!!!

But then We start to think, oh man...When am i gonna get outta this?! Am i Ever gonna get enough strength?!
Well that's when i realized today...That everyday I Let go by thinking how/when am i Gonna get outta this season...Is Another Chance Lost for me to Get closer to God...Another Chance lost for me to Step up another Level in Faith..
EveryDay that we Keep looking down to the ground, wondering wondering and not Doing...is Another Chance Lost for us to Serve God somewhere... =)

I think it's time to snap outta it ppl! =D Finally the Word starts to speak Again!

Ten Healed of Leprosy

This is One Amazing story!
i mean...if u had leprosy..And You found Jesus...And asked Him...Heal mE! have pity on me!

And He tells ya..Go...Show yourself to the people/priest..Whateva.

O_o?!?!? What?!?!? Halo...Show wat?! haven't done anything also?!
Wow...but to Let Go and actually Doing the Weirdest things that Jesus Asks...
And something Changes! it's Crazy! But You Asked for Something Crazy from Him! Why not Him from you?! O_o

Boggles the mind.

But the important thing is..not all of them returned to Praise God!
And Sometimes we can be like that...

i Mean what if Something Amazing happened to you...that makes you go WOW!
And We can get so Immersed in the miracle that We Forget who gave it to us in the first place!

Turn around and Praise Jesus!

Because that was Only One miracle...God is Already thinking about The NExt Miracle to Come! Wow!
And besides...It was God's Glory! All Glory HAVE to be given back to Him! None for ourselves or the miracles itself..but to Him!

Hey!!guess what! it's time to Cross Over!
Cross over to the other side..Away from the crowd..Because the crowd will never lead you to a new level!

and woo...Just when you Thought Crossing over was a Gud step, then remember this...

When Jesus crossed over...he was not met by a party, or by a crowd of cheering people..or with an easy life...But another person he would heal (Legion Somemore! haizz)

When we Cross over, It's not gonna be an Easy life over there! We're crossing over to New Challenges!!!
Crossing over does not equal Retiring!! It shouldn't be for us to bring more fame upon ourselves (No Celebration meh!??!?! O_o)

But it's another challenge that God is gonna show us! It's a Whole LEgion of challenges! lolz!

Helooo People!! Yes i can honestly say that i'm enjoying my Holiday!!! ><>

Luke 5:3He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
4When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch."

I got Really Suprising Good Marks For my 2 of my Papers!!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! =D =P Whichhhh.....

I thought I wasn't gonna be Able to Make it!!! Or Do ThAt Well in it!!! If it hadn't been for God,....i Never would've made it through!!! My Strength Failed me eons ago!!!

I'm thankful my creator made me to be someone to not give up! Cuz i'm Crazeeeee!!! =D

And i was thinking as i was going out today....

"WoW....It's Because of God that i can Go out Confidently today! That i Can Walk without my head bent low like i had given up! But Because of God And His amazing Grace, We're able to Walk with Our Head Held High Declaring with our Mouths the POwer of God!!!

Jesus Lets us walk with Strength And Confidence eventhough We Never Would've been able to!!! How Great is Our God that He Would choose us to be a Testimony!

You Are a Testimony too...Because dun forget..It's BecAUSe of God,...that Today will be a New Day to Live a New Way! =D

Wahh it's so long since i managed to do something!

Well here goes!

Phillipians3:14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.[NLT]

As Each of us run our Race, there's always An End to it rite!?
Now what is the most glam(glamour) thing about running a race?! To win a Prize rite?!?!

Aha...Now this is interesting!!! O_o..
If we were running a Race for Ourselves, to be So Glamour at the end...What are we fixing our eyes on? Eartly Prizes!!!
But Guess what!!! There's a HEavenly Prize that We should be receiving, according to GOd's Riches (not ours) and I Believe that Children of God; Who are to inherit the Kingdom of God, are able to look past Fame and Fortune--To Heaven!

So what's this race about again? I know u will tell me it's about God, but what happens when u do get to the end? What if there is an earthly prize and a heavenly prize?
It's like having a cheesecake and a vegetable on the table.
The vegetable may Not Look better, or taste better, but it's definitely MUCH better to have!

2 Corinthians 4:18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Well...If you want to experience the Peace of God...That Surpasses ALL Understanding...
Then...
1.Don't be anxious
2.Present all your requests to God, By Prayer With Thanksgiving!!!! O_o

Because It's God who knows what we need, and what we shouldn't have! amazing! That means He knows very well what would make us happy for eternal...and Our God is So Great, He doesn't hold back!!! =D

Before i Realize it, sometimes i worry..And everything is just Going So Wrong! I was so anxious to get my exam over with!!! So Much to cram in final week!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

But let God work in you, Because i Realized after i presented all this to God, He shoved it aside and made the problem seemed so tiny i Laughed at it.
See...Our God is SO BIG,....that NO problem will seem bigger than Him!!!! =D hahaha!!!!

So by THANKSGIVING(in looking forward for God's blessing)...we Present all this on the altar to God.. Where i Can truly say..that something will change!!! =)

And then God will guard our
1.Heart-Where our heart is no longer Burdened, or saddened..But lifted up by the Love of God. It'll make ur heart go extra DubDub! =D haha!!!lolz!
2.Mind-Where our Mind...Will BE SET ON GOD, and NO longer on the Problem.And!!! it'll be GUarded from the enemy by the PEace of God!!!

So let the peace of God flow through you, because We'll need to rely totally on God to protect us from hence on already! =)

GReat!!!! Because God will be Able to use You to fullfill His purposes, where u can ONLY rely on God!!
So That NO one may boast about their own power! =)

I rather be a total blur case not sure of my Own abilities to fullfill my calling because then i can REaLLy say GOD DID IT!!!!!! =)
Who would want to do something that they're unsure they're good at? I wasn't good at being on stage, Or conducting a choir?!?!? O_o MAD La!!!
But it's all About the Power of God that leads us on into our calling!

Moses was interesting, we are probably like him when God calls us. We lay out many many excuses...But in the end God says You're Enough!

Only God can give our salvation, so only God can perform miracles in your life.

So what's it like to be man of God or a woman of God!? =D
hahah..this is gonna be so fun.

I want to re-emphasize the difference in genders for a moment,

Genesis1:27 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. [NLT]

So God created male AND female in His own image. Both of us are created in God's image!
So if God's image is good, then males are good, then Females are good as well yea?!!=)
After all these is no 'God favours who more', because We are all His children rite!? =D

Genesis 2:21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the Lord God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. vs22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man.

i think the message is,
Woman Should not Put on men's image, nor should men put on women's image!
Because God had made us for a reason, and we are supposed to fulfill the revelation of our own gender!
I'm not saying 'now all women hate men, and men run away from women'..but I want to get the message across, that if You are a woman, then Be a woman of God. if you're a man, then Be a man of God!

And btw, women doesn't mean staying at home watching the kids ah..look at proverbs 31..Wah.

Do you understand the power you have in God?
There is No excuse to give, that you are stumbling, because the word says, if God is For us...who can be against us?!.
There's nothing in this world, Nothing...that can separate us from the love of Christ. Nothing can stop us, because God has granted us power by the holy Spirit.

Only if we start living by the spirit...can be ever discover the meaning of the power and authority God has given us!

So No more excuses from now on, because though ur natural, God is Supernatural!
And if we have God, we Are supernatural! Boom babeh!

Throw out your excuses already! there's nothing that should be holding you back from seeking the real love of God towards us! God has already made us More than Conquerors..because My saviour is living in Me! =)

Been having a hard time?! Studies are coming nearer, or there already! Aiks!!!!I'm screaming here!

Then I saw...THe verse.

Romans5:3 "Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; vs4perseverance, character; and character, hope. vs5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us"

In my bible (NASB) it says Perseverence brings about Proven Character; and proven character, hope.

No. 1: Rejoice in our suffering?!?! hahaha...That sounds Crazy!!! I rmb in Harry Potter show there was one line where Ron told Harry after reading his tea leaves; You will suffer but be happy about it" I laughed! =D
But the Word says...Rejoice in your suffering! It's spoken plain as day. If u wanna obey God, Rejoice!
2. Because God wants to bring about a Proven Character in us, and He wants to test us of our perseverence!

Romans 8:18For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Helooo!!! God's got something amazing for you at the end of this testing! This is not even worthy!! bring it on!!!
God cannot use a lazy person or one who will give up on the Kingdom of God when tribulations come. That's what He told me!

I want to have a Proven character at the end of this difficulty. Because that'll bring a testimony, and give hope not only to me, but to Others as well! Amen?!

I'm so excited when difficulties come along, it's either I win and the outcome is amazing, or i lose and regret for my entire life. I just gotta win then! >< Yea i heard this once! What can kill us can only make us stronger rite?!

Everywhere in the bible talks about new life with God, you die with sin etc etc. !

And I read this verse yesterday(among the other verses)..
Romans 6:3 "Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? vs4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life"

No one..who has experienced God will ever remain the same again.

Old mindets should die.
Old bad attitudes should die.

Past sins should die.

Bondages should break.

I encourage us to think again really, what were you like before you really experience God?!
I ca honestly say i'm different la. Though my actions are not much different, but the way i think and perceive are different. God didn't want to change our physical! he wants to change our Hearts! In His eyes, we are perfect physically already!

I was so terrible man last time. i used to hate the world. What was the meaning of life? i thought I didn't need anyone to get through life. I didnt like my parents, and I didn't like guys. Sad yea. but dun worry, i dun hate either one ade. lolz!
God moved my heart.

So dun go back to your old ways of thinking! Dun revert back to what Jesus has broken free from you!
Start moving forward! Because your life should be different already!
You're no longer that child who everyone looked down on, because God thinks of you great! You're no longer that person who couldn't do anything, because God has given you something!

There's got to be a change in our ways. Because we are No longer living by the flesh, but by the spirit!

hey All!Hows the week been?! Everyone watched Spiderman 3 already?!

i have to admit it was a REally Nice show to watch, i mean...3 villains at once?it's like swallowing a whole cheesecake in one go!!! Yes!lolx!

Anyway, why am i saying this anyway?! Well good on you Davin, you brought it up first.

There Is one part in the show that did disturb me for a moment, and i don't want people to get it wrong.

Remember the scene that the reporter walks into the Catholic Church and asks God to kill Peter Parker? Yes, that is...so wrong.

Lemme get this straight to you, God doesn't just pick people and kill them off just because your life is not going the way u want it to.
Halo..in the ten Commandments, it says 'You shall not murder'. Asking God to kill off someone is equivalent to murdering already.

Listen, God doesn't make u suffer for no reason. You have to be tested, no question. Because God wants a person who lives by the spirit, and not by the flesh.
Therefore, He will bring you into the wilderness!

Deutronomy 8:2 'You shall remember all the way which the Lord your God has led you into the wilderness these forty years that He might humble you, test you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not'

Do You keep God's commandments?!?

Because God has already set out to bless us!
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"

plans not to harm us, but to prosper us. But how in the world can we expect to find victory unless we walk right into it??!

So yes! Just keep that in mind! Because I don't like it when God is portrayed the wrong way in movies and shows, and it's our job to slay the deeds of the enemy.

Get Rooted

Hey All! I know it's a little soon to post again another post, but i just read something and I think I might give an opinion anyway.

Elizabeth!Yes! Good, you know this is partially for you then.

In camp, I received a Word from God, something to do la in the future. And His first commandment was so simple...Get Rooted.
There's just Nothing to replace the Word of God in our lives. Nothing. This whole world is in deception, that's why we don't live by the flesh, but by the spirit.

Romans 8:9 "However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him"

u can't call yourself the children of God unless u live by the spirit!

Our everyday lives, our future, why we should do this and that, why we choose to do something over the other, only the Word of God can tell us all that.
When i was a younger christian, i used to ask God, why la why. Why am i always feeling Hyped for God yet sometimes Doubting and fearful.

No root.

No Solid Quiet Time.

No Proper relationship.

Without a strong relationship, you'll keep on wandering the rest of your life.
I'm only Now starting to REally memorize the Word of God.And it's not easy!
But i find as i read the bible everyday, i'm getting to understand more and more what to do if i face a certain situation.

So get rooted ppl! Or how else will people know about the Word of God from you? =)

Anyway....I am, like a lot of people i know, having parent issues right now. And is that a surprise?

I've had it easy so far man, and I really wanna support u guys who hold up eventhough your parents are so difficult. But it's time to play smart God's way. =)

I really can't blame my mother for worrying about me, after all, who won't get freaked out when we say we wanna change the world for Jesus??!
O_o

I just didn't want to fight with my mother about it, and just tried to tell her Nicely (so difficult!), to trust me and trust God. (It's not easy to tell her anything at all btw!)

When i come to really think about it, what testimony lies in turning your own parent against u? I Will not be persecuted by my own parent, and i'm Really going to get back at the devil for trying to use my mother!!! Grrr.. *dush*

The word of God says Honour your father and mother in the TEN COMmandments some more! Aiyo!
All i can say to people who also have these problems, start turning to Holy Spirit, who is your closest friend and ask...."WHAT NOW?!"

I wish the right testimony from this. Cuz I'm going all out for God and I really Have no intention of keeping any bonds on myself! Break it in Jesus' name, and start working the way Holy Spirit tells u to.
Do not be afraid! Because God has already sent Holy Spirit to guide us and lead us!

Hey All!
YAYyyyyyyyyyyy!!!PlanetUni Camp "MARKED" Was AMAZING and Life Changing!!! I experienced God to the Fullest and Max at Camp, and received the great Awesome breakthrough that God promised! I was so sleepy i almost fell asleep at church after i came back! lolz!

Mark 3:13 "And He went up on the mountain and summoned those who He Himself wanted, and they came to Him. vs14 And He appointed twelve, so that they would be with Him and that He could send them out to preach vs15 and to have authority to cast out the demons.

Wow.......! O_o

After coming back from camp, i was thinking..Why God? Why did u call me?

There's a WHOLE lots of reasons why God called me, or anyone else. This is one, He Himself Wanted! Oooooooo...

Just like in Esther4:14 ".....And whos knows whether you have been born for such a time as this?"

It's this time that God has put u in..not the future generation, or the older one...it's Now!

Do You Get? God calls us, because He Himself wanted you! He wants you He wants you He wants you!
And I know that I've been born into the Right time, Right hour, Right Generation!

God Summons us because He Wants us! To be with Him, to Preach and to have authority to cast out demons.
And I understand Now, that what God has callen me to, it's because He wants me to do it.

Ps.Matt Fielder said something good at camp, we can say "Let Your kingdom come Lord, let Your will be done, see this nation won"..but when God calls u to do it, u say "cannot..I dunno la...like so difficult"...I plead guilty, it's natural..human reaction...
But we don't like by the flesh! We live by the spirit! And We gotta understand, that God will Summon us, cause He Wants us! O_o

Purpose

Today is a holiday! hallelujah!Now let me finish my assignment before i freak out Lord! lolz!

Acts 26:16 "But get up and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things which i will appear to you" vs 18 "To open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God..."

This is Again another part of the words that God told Saul/Paul when he was entering Damascus, ready to persecute the disciples.
But the point was when God said for this PURPOSE.

For this Purpose, God has called us.

Do you know that We , the sons of God are the only ones who can destroy the evil works of the enemy?

1John 3:8 "the one who prctices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God has appeared for this purpose to destroy the works of the devil"

OoooOooo.. O_o

What is Your purpose? What is God's purpose for you? HEy!, even I'm still trying to find out! lolz!
God has just told me So many things that He wants to see me do! And I better do it man! After all, God has created us for various purposes!
And my purpose has got to be different from yours! Just like yours from others!
Because it's our own portion!
If not, God won't need so many children if He had only limited purposes for His kingdom.

There's so much work to be done! So many lives to be reached out to! God needs everyone to form the picture for the Kingdom of God to come! YesYes!

I remember saying this previously, Revelations 22:12 "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My rewrd is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done"
WHat have you done? or...what are you gonna do before the time comes?

The time is drawing closer and closer everyday, and we as children of God got to start seeking our purposes fervently already!

Feeling blessed? I was having quite a hard time this past weeks cuz I felt like I’ve been giving and giving and giving and not receiving anything.
And of course I didn’t tell anyone that I feel blessed laaa! Haiz!

But this morning God dropped the bombshell on me!Ayooo!

Acts20:35 “….. ‘it is more blessed to give than to receive’

If I count properly, then I must be Very Blessed already liau! Of all the times that God has called me to give!Aiks!!!!
I must be soooo blessed that it’s gotta overflow out already!

And it’s truth oke! Cuz the Word of God sayz so!

And the only way you will know that it's truth, is if you Live by the Word and find out! =)

It is more blessed to give than to receive! O_o
So if you feel like you’ve been giving and giving and giving…Good for you la!
You are super blessed already!

In fact, God challenged me saying that How dare I give not knowing that He is the God that provides! Because He is!
And those who sow abundantly will reap abundantly!

So go Sow! (rhymes!)

Hey All!
As I was walking back just now, I saw a beggar on the street. And God moved me to do something. Normally I would give money, but God told me NoNo not money only.

I wrote down John3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life"
and gave it to him.

It was weird la!!!Cuz i don't even know if the beggar can read ...moreover read my writing!lolz!
But God told me to do Just that, and I did.

I dunno what happened after that, but I didn't regret doing it. So it should be a good thing.

Just remember, money can last for a moment, but God lasts forever.
=)

God, if You can use anything, won't You use me!!! =D

Why Praise God?!?!?!? Cuz He's worthy to be praised!
Psalm 148 (and many many others!) says, Praise the Lord!
"For He commanded them and they were created,
He has also established them forever and ever"
Worship Himmm!!!Worship God!
For He created Heaven and Earth! For He saved us from our darkness! For everything that He has blessed us with! Praise the Lord!!!Yeaaaa!

Acts16:22-24 tells of how Paul and Silas were captured and imprisoned. *gasp*
They were beaten terribly and just Thrown into jail, and Shackled. *gasp*
in Acts16:25-26 "But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymms of Praise to God and the prisoners were listening to them;vs26 and suddeny there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken, and immmediately all the doors were opened everyone's chains were unfastened"

In vs25, At first glance, I can understand why Paul and Silas were Praying. Of course la! I mean, if I were in prison, I would've been praying like Mad!Pray pray pray pray pray cuz Prayer works!Sure we must pray! But I couldn't understand the Praising God part!
Honestly, if you're in jail, will praising God for being in jail come to your mind? No rite!
But this is what the Word of God tells us!

That even in our deepest darkest troubles, Praise the Lord!!!!For He will come!He will save us! Praise the Lord for all that He's done! Praise the Lord for what He's going to do! Praise the Lord for your lives at that moment! Praise the Lord Praise the Lord Praise the Lord!

And Paul and Silas were right weren't they? Miracles took place thereafter!it was an opportunity, to get someone to know God! Because then after the jailer got saved.OooooooO O_o

I learnt one thing from this scripture. Praise the Lord. Even in Difficult times, Praise the Lord for this opportunity!It's difficult right now, getting to know people, doing sooo many assignments, trying to cope with money, .....but Praise the Lord!Not because I say so but Because the Word of God says so! Praise Him not only in our good times, but our bad as well! Yaaaaaaaayyyyy!

Chosen One

Hey All! Ahh another good holiday! Gud time to spent with the Lord! =)
Yeap this is what i learnt today from God today!

Acts 9:15 "Go,for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the pagans and kings and the sons of Israel; vs16 for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name's sake"

in Acts 9, Saul (The Terrible Terrible persecutor!How dare he!!) was on his way to Damascus breathing threats against the disciples okee!!! That is like Sooo Scary!O_o

This is the guy who persecuted the church!And he's definitely the last person you'll probably think of that God will choose la..seriously.

But Amazingly!God told Ananias(His disciple) that Go!Find him!
Even Ananias said "Lord I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he did to Your saints at Jerusalem..."

But God said, Go!For he is My Chosen instrument!
CHOSEN!!!!!!!!CHOSEN!Wooohooo!

Honestly right, God doesn't choose us based on our past. He already Chose You before u even breathed life on this earth!
If God chose us based on our past rite, I don't think me or a lot of us will be experiencing God this way Now!
When God said, YOU are My Chosen instrument, You Are!
God didn't choose us for no reason!He made every one of us for a reason!
Like a individual jigsaw piece, no matter where you stray of too, You are needed to complete a picture!
God created us in His Image!(Gen 1) We are not some pathetic being!NonoNoNono! ur beautiful!Cuz God sayz so! =)

And everyone has their part to play. Don't ever think that just because somebody didn't know or like God or christians before has no right to experience God!
That's not true!In fact, EVeryone is meant to experience God!Because we are His creation!What Father turns away a child that He loves?!And God loves us all Sooo much!

2Timothy2:19 "Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, "the Lord knows who are His" and "everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness"

God knows who are His okezz!!! Just like Jesus knows who are His sheeps!

And most importantly God does not choose us based on our appearance! Whether we look bad or tooo good!

Mark 12:38 In His teaching he was saying, "beware of the scribes who like to walk around in long robes, and like respectful greetings in the market places, vs39 and chief seats in the synagogues and places of honour at banquets, vs40 who devour widows' houses and for appearance's sake offer long prayers; these will receive greater condemnation"

God is not after our appearances, but after our hearts, our attitudes!
Then that would mean that....

God chose us for our hearts?

Maybe it was a longing heart, or a heart that was searching, or a heart that was aching, or a heart that was searching for forgiveness, or a heart that was searching for Love, or a heart of worship, I dunno! But we had something in us that God wanted to shine out! =)

But God obviously chose each and every one of us for a reason, and I dun think He looked at me and thought
"Hmmm...i think Jovial is quite a good talker, yes since she's so egoistic that'll help in the ministry.." No Way Man!
I didn't understand who was God, nor did I even bother to try last time. It took my friend's effort to bring me closer to Christ, And I know God didn't choose us by our Abilities or whatever, Because we Are NOt perfect!
So that can't be possible!

And Don't think "Why didn't God choose someone better than me to do this!"
If honestly rite (this is what i've learnt b4), if God's priority was talent and gifts, (e.g) then we don't need a worship team already, cuz we can just hire professionals mah...They sing sooo good, play perfectly without mistakes!
Only one thing missing, God's presence.
It's the joy in experiencing God when we worship, when we serve, and God prioritizes that!
We are First Class Christians oke!!!!He will grant us strength in our weaknesses!

So rejoice in Knowing that God Chose You for a reason! and it was not based on your outward appearance!
Before, Saul was a terrible man, persecuting church and threatening disciples la everything! but after he met God, He became a man of God, and he rejoiced!
No one after knowing God personally, will ever stay the same.
REJOICED oke!
I never regretted knowing God and experiencing His amazing powers!

Yes! Rejoice in knowing that God loves you for Who You Really Are! And that He has Called you as well as others to be leaders of this generation!

We are the Light

Heyo All! felt super lethargic today...probably due to having so much fun and holidays!haha!
But yes!I had a good time with God today..and this is what the Holy Spirit told me to write! =)

Acts 4:12 "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved"

It starts with this.

There is No one!No one that can give salvation except God!No one! The only truth in the world is the Word of God!
And We are the only ones who are able to bring light into this world!
Can u imagine what an important mission we are entrusted with?
Only the Sons of God can destroy the works of the enemy!(1John 3:8)

Victorious christians are the only ones who can bring people to know the REAL SALVATION through Jesus!
NoBody else can do it because We are the only ones brought out of darkness because God gave us our salvation already!

And what is Jesus' ministry?
Luke4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor,
He has spent Me to proclaim release to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set free those who are oppressed,
vs19 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord"

This is the ministry we should be building on!

In Acts 3 an 4, there's a story of how Peter and John healed a blind man, and the whole congegration got sitrred up! in total 8000 people!Alamak!!!8000!!!
I was staring at the number for a really long time!I mean....it's amazing what God can do with 2 men and faith! O_o and imagine ah...that part wouldn't have existed, if Peter and John had just walked past that lame beggar.
Nothing's gonna happen, or change, unless we make a move first.

Acts4:13 "Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus"

Recognize!!!i think We should be recognized as being with Jesus as well when we bring the spirit of God with us, or when we stand up for God, or when we put our faith into action,
"That Person has experienced God!!!That person Knows God!!!"

Acts 4:19 "But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God, you be the judge; vs20 for we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard"

I just can't stop proclaiming God's power!God's miracles!God's glory!
I've seen too much, Heard to much to keep shut!
Just remember what God has done!WHat He can do!
Helooo!John and Peter could've been persecuted for that oke...i think..politics la i dunno..
But Yet they dared to speak up...why?Because it's Truth!

I have really learnt to take my faith to another level.i mean,...if u ever get an opportunity..Go ahead!Tell them what u have seen!What u have heard!
Because the bible says Only God can grant salvation!And that's the cure to eternal life!

That's something to talk about! =)

Our Covenant

Wow!! it's another Great Awesome Day at Planetshakers Church!

But one of the most important thing I learnt today was the Holy Communion!Wow!!

1Corinthians 11:23-25 tells of the Bread and Wine that we take as holy Communion.
The bread as we all should know, represents Christ's body which was broken for us and The wine represents Christ's blood.

And Holy Communion to me, is such an important time in our walk with God. It represents a New Covenant and a Strong relationship with our Lord. I was thinking about that today before I took Holy Communion, and I started proclaiming "Yes God! I declare your Greatness! And Our new covenant!Woww!!"

Oke so i wondered if what I was thinking was Correct, so I went to check it up in the bible laaa!
1Corinthians 11:26 "For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you Proclaim the Lord's death until He comes"

PROCLAIM Oke!!!PRoClaim!!!!!PRoclaim!!!! MUAhahahahhaa!

Yes! We Proclaim the Lord's death every time we take that holy communion!
It's A Great and Powerful Act that we are doing everytime we choose to take Holy Communion!
It's a proclamation of what God has provided and promised to us!

It's a Decision to say YES I believe God is Good!That He provides and is Greatly to be praised!

For me today, i realized that it was a New Bond! A new Covenant!
We are tied to God through His covenant! Wow!!!!Imagine...God!The Creator!The Saviour! is our Bestest Friend!

And we are Proclaiming the Lord's victorious death in Holy communion!

When I took holy communion today, it felt like I was Much Closer to God.
As I drank the "wine" (which was very sweet =p), I came to understand that, we have the new covenant with Christ through His blood!
And I Started to learn of God's hopes, God's dreams and everything that He wanted me to learn.

Yes, that is our New Covenant with God!
And it's reinforced when we openly declare that God is Awesome, by taking the Holy Communion that Sunday at Church.

It's not just a traditional thing, it's something that we should WANT to take, because it's another way for us to declare the Glory of our King!

Seek First His Kingdom

HeYo everyone!
As my first post i'll like to wish u all a Happy Easter!
It's such a great day to remember how Christ died for us and Rose again!
Imagine if Jesus could conquer the grave, what more our situations and difficulties in Life?
Our God is an Awesome awesome God and worthy to be praised!

Well as i opened the bible to hear what the Holy Spirit wanted to tell me, i came to
Matthew 6:31-33 vs31"Do not worry then, saying 'what will we eat?' or 'what will we drink?' or 'what will we wear for clothing?' vs32For the pagans eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things vs33But Seek First the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you"

This was something that One of my cell group leader was talking about as well on Wed night!Amazing!!! (credit to sue lynn!)

Jesus probably had worries as well..like what He was going to eat, or drink, or how was He to get somewhere...But He knew that God Provides!

One major problem for youths (like me!) is that we always Worry Worry Worry Worry!
What shall I eat?What shall I drink?What shall I wear?How can I finish that assignment?How can I study enough for that exam?How can I even do that exam?How laa!!!I got no boyfriend or girlfriend!!

It's amazing!
I worried A LOT when i came to Melbourne.
How can I get through university?How can I make new friends?How can I get through Uni the best way ever?!

Yes it is normal!

But it is Not for us Victorious Christians to seek all these Things!!!
Because Jesus said the Pagans eagerly seek these things!

We are the sons of God, and we no longer live by the flesh, but by the Spirit!

And God didn't stop at saying don't seek all these things above all, He Knows that we need it..

That we need good grades, that we need good food, that we need a good living, that we need good friends..

But God said, Seek First His kingdom...and ALL these things will be added on to you!

So we God doesn't want us to worry!He doesn't want anything else to take away the Friendship He wants to form with you!

It's amazing how I used to say..I want to look for the Best Anime EVER!!!Hahaha!
Now I say i want to look for how Great God can be!

Do not forget God loves us very very much, because it also says in
Romans 8:35-39 in summary...NOTHING will separate us from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing!I tell u nothing!Once we understand truly right...How God wants to hold on to us Sooo much and He wants to bless us Sooo much...we'll start seeking more of Him than of anything else.

When i finally got it and realized what God wanted me to learn when I came to Melbourne, I started to eagerly seek Him...Day by Day! I fasted...and Now fasting Again!*Gasp!*...And God has really taught me SOoooo much about Him and the holy spirit!

But God didn't intend to bless only one person!as long as You eagerly seek God ...He will answer the hungry.

The time has Come for Victorious christians to eagerly seek God and all that He has in stall for us, the youths of the nation!

Let God Speak! =)
